“I began with oils and acrylics when I lived in Indiana and    Florida.  I only tried experimenting in 1990 with watercolor,    which I considered a more difficult medium, as I relocated    to Northern California.  The remarkable light and stunning    landscapes stirred my soul to pour this onto paper…thus    began my watercolor adventures!  I discovered the paint    and the paper are the artists and I am the tool which brings    them together; this is the fun.  They are really    uncontrollable and that is what I love about it.  I really    enjoy standing back to see what happens when I let them    touch each other with the water – it is different every time,    and almost never what I planned!  I have had very high    quality gicleé prints made of some of my paintings, as    well as note cards.  These are available for my art loving    clients as well as the originals.  I hope you enjoy my work    as much as I do, and I’m creating more of our Gold    Country hills and Amador County these days! You may    see more historical locations in my work as the months go    by.  Look for me in upcoming art shows!
